Twelve months of protection in one box. NexGard Spectra is a monthly beef-flavoured chew that covers the parasites Australian dogs actually meet: fleas, paralysis ticks, bush and brown dog ticks, mites, lice, heartworm and intestinal worms. This is the red pack for dogs weighing 30.1 to 60kg.

What each monthly chew does

  • Fleas: kills fleas fast and keeps killing them for 35 days, breaking the flea life cycle and helping prevent flea allergy dermatitis.
  • Ticks: controls paralysis ticks, bush ticks and brown dog ticks for 5 weeks.
  • Heartworm: prevents heartworm disease when given every month.
  • Intestinal worms: treats roundworm, hookworm and whipworm.
  • Mites and lice: treats sarcoptic and demodectic mange, ear mites and biting lice.

Active ingredients

Each 8g chew contains 150mg afoxolaner and 30mg milbemycin oxime, the dose for a 30.1–60kg dog.

How to give it

One chew a month, with or without food, on or about the same date. Encourage your dog to chew rather than swallow whole. Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks of age and 2kg, and for breeding, pregnant and lactating dogs. Weigh your dog before the first dose.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. If your dog has a history of seizures, is unwell or is on other medication, talk to your vet first.

Active ingredients

Each 8g chew contains afoxolaner 150mg and milbemycin oxime 30mg.

Dose by body weight: Very small 2–3.5kg (orange) · Small 3.6–7.5kg (yellow) · Medium 7.6–15kg (green) · Large 15.1–30kg (purple) · Very large 30.1–60kg (red). Dogs over 60kg: use the appropriate combination of chews; ask your vet.

Dosing and directions

Give one chew for the dog's weight band once a month, with or without food. Encourage chewing rather than swallowing whole. For year-round heartworm prevention, do not miss a month; if a dose is missed, give it as soon as possible and resume monthly dosing.

Safe for puppies from 8 weeks of age and 2kg, and for breeding, pregnant and lactating dogs. Store below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Always read the label and follow directions for use.

How is it delivered, and how long does it take?

Orders are dispatched from our Australian warehouse within 1–2 business days and sent by tracked courier. Most metro addresses receive their order in 2–5 business days; regional and remote areas can take longer. Delivery is a flat $3.99 per order, anywhere in Australia.

Do you ship outside Australia?

No. We sell and ship within Australia only. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

What if I change my mind?

Unopened items can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange; return postage for change-of-mind is at your cost. If something arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we will replace or refund it under the Australian Consumer Law.
