Terms of service

These terms apply to every purchase made through hg-market.com (the "Store"), operated by HG Market, 22 Sunrise Drive, Maroochydore QLD 4558, Australia ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Who we sell to

We sell and deliver within Australia only. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. You must be at least 18 years old to order.

2. Products

We sell genuine products sourced from Australian distributors. Product information, including ingredients, feeding guides and dosing, is taken from the manufacturer's label and may change without notice; always read the label and follow the directions for use. Parasite treatments such as NexGard Spectra must be given according to the manufacturer's directions for the weight of your dog. If your dog is unwell, pregnant, on other medication or has a history of seizures, talk to your vet before use. Nothing on this Store is veterinary advice.

3. Orders and payment

An order is accepted when we send a confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example where stock is unavailable or a price was displayed in error; if payment has been taken we will refund it in full. Payment is processed securely by Shopify Payments and Shop Pay. We do not store your card details.

4. Pricing

Compare-at prices shown are the manufacturer's recommended retail price or the price of the same item at a major Australian retailer at the time of listing. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price you pay is the price shown at checkout.

5. Delivery

Orders are dispatched from Australia within 1 to 2 business days and sent by tracked courier. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. Please check the address carefully; we are not responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrect address supplied by you.

6. Returns, refunds and consumer guarantees

Our Return and refund policy forms part of these terms. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

7. Accounts and Shop app

You may check out as a guest or through the Shop app. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.

8. Intellectual property

The HG Market name, logo, photographs and written content on this Store are owned by or licensed to us. Product names and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products sold.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Store or the products. Our liability for breach of a consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded is limited, where permitted, to replacing the goods or refunding the price paid.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy policy and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
